Custom Storefronts, inc. is looking for an Assistant Project Manager.  The successful candidate will have 1-3 years’ relevant experience with construction, storefront glazing, brake metal, architectural millwork or a related field.  Responsibilities include assisting Project Managers with daily activities required to manage storefront projects.  Additional responsibilities include takeoffs, proposals, material orders and the review of shop/fabrication drawings.  This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to advance their career as this has the potential to work into a Project Manager position.

Responsibilities:

  • Create material takeoffs and schedules

High-Level Millworker

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high level quality control assurance
  • Processing wood components for custom millwork and entry doors
  • Gluing up of various wood components
  • Planing, sanding, jointing and ripping
  • Cutting of wood components to precision required
  • Sanding of components to specification
  • Preparation and installation of hardware
  • Performing basic machine maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail and precision within 1/32”
  • A firm knowledge of wood characteristics and proper gluing techniques
  • Excellent understanding of proper sanding techniques
  • Ability to read detailed architectural blue prints and shop/fabrication drawings
  • Ability to plan and sequence processes to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently, including working with and/or leading others

AutoCAD Drafter

Custom Storefronts, inc. is looking for an experienced AutoCAD drafter.  The successful candidate will have 3-7 years’ experience with AutoCAD in a precision fabrication environment.  Responsibilities include creating storefront shop drawings as well as internal fabrication drawings for glazing systems, entry doors, brake metal and architectural millwork.  This position requires experience in a manufacturing environment as attention to detail and precision is critical.

Responsibilities:

  • Create retail storefront shop drawings
  • Create fabrication drawings for internal production
  • Communication with project management team to ensure efficiency of production
  • Layout and setup of new projects according to internal standards
  • Create order documents for outside vendors

 

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in AutoCAD; 2+ yrs. minimum in 2010 AutoCAD or newer
  • Ability to read architectural blueprints
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work in a team environment

Mid-Level Millworker

Custom Storefronts, inc. is looking for an experienced Mid-Level Millworker who is interested in an opportunity to work into a high level fabricator position. The successful candidate will have 1-3 years’ experience in custom millwork fabrication. Responsibilities include processing wood components using various wood working equipment including shapers, table saws, routers, up-cut saws, tiger stops, timesavers, and sliding table saws.   Additional responsibilities include assembling trim, machining, casing, and using jigs/fixtures.

Custom Storefronts, inc. is looking for a Project Coordinator. The successful candidate will have 1-3 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment and/or commercial construction. Responsibilities include assisting Project Managers with daily activities required to manage storefront projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who is currently in an administrative role supporting department heads or Project Managers and is looking to advance their career.   • Track Bid Dates and Organize Project Documentation
